Oops....I've cheesed him off!!!!!

A place for ideas on what to do on your Hen and Stag nights

Oops....I've cheesed him off!!!!!

Postby Nunn2b » Thu Aug 20, 2009 8:45 am

 my h2b and I have been discussing ideas for our hen/stag do's but I think I've really cheesed him off this morning!!!
I have never been on a girls hol so really wanted to do a weekend in Spain for mine but after not being able to go on a friends hen do to Spain due to cost I felt I should scrap the idea for myself too!
Now he's under pressure from his BM to think of something to do (even tho it's his job) and my h2b has looked at doing a rally day at a cost of......£200 for a day :o
I said to him that it was a bit expensive to ask a load of lads to be paying out such alot of money and I know for definate neither of our dads can afford that sort of money!!!!
I've been thinking of cheaper things to do as I think I'll have a brilliant time even if I don't spend a fortune but he seems really annoyed now and has gone to work with the hump :(
I don't want to seem like a party pooper but I feel like I gave up my girlie hol to save money and he wants to blow it all on one day!! Just think we could do with putting it in the wedding account! Am I being a complete *????

Ooops! Maybe you could suggest a day at the go karts or quad biking tracks instead (not the quad treks, they cost a small fortune! ) Also is he sure all his mates have full licences? Cause usually in a group there's one person who doesn't drive! You need to sit down with him and explain that your wedding's expensive anyway and you've given up your expensive plan. :)

have to say nunn2b Im on ure side here!!! if you have had to give up ure ideal hen night for the sake of the budget its not fair for him to blow so much on his stag do! , how about paintballing? or such like, I'm sure there are loads of red letter type days for at least half that price!

He will come round n realise, at the moment he is just upset as he had his heart set on it... just like you wld have been upset about spain, you soon got over it tho and so will heeee xxx

Thanks girls!!! I know your right when you say he prob had his heart set on as cars are his thing (soooo a petrol head)
We are both competitive ppl so I'm gonna suggest both the hens and stags could compete at go karting together (he hates it that I'm really good at it and beat him once  !!!) and then have separate nights out doing the usual drinking/clubbing thing!!
I think he'd quite like the idea of the challenge and will hopefully take his mind off the fact I kinda peed on his parade!!!
What do ya think??

Ps just thought we might be able to get a discount as so many of us would be going!!
